A Better Way To Keep Pages From Being Indexed
Today I went through some of the indexed pages of one of my older sites and found that their were pages still indexed that I blocked years ago via a robots.txt file. I guess at the time I did this I had assumed once I block these pages in robots.txt, that was all I needed to do to get them removed from the index. Rookie mistake. Read this post

Then I gave it some more thought and remembered how Google recently indexed that particular website’s homepage with https instead of http. After some research I found that this does in fact cause a duplicate content penalty.
Craigslist Still Proves Itself To Be A Great Resource
Craigslist still proves itself for being a great tool for selling stuff locally. I recently posted an ad for a car alarm and received a pretty quick response. The alarm sold within 2 days of the posting date plus I received the entire asking price. People still love the convenience of buying something they can have in their hands the same day which provides a great opportunity for anyone who knows how to shop online to get great products at rock bottom prices.
