A 301 redirect will pass pagerank through from the old url to the new url you specify.  Depending on how many links are linking to your domain.com and www.domain.com, it may be wise to 301 redirect one form of your domain to the other to make sure your getting all external links pushing juice into your site.

A product can sell itself.

If you have a product that sells itself, that will play the role of “premium linkbait”. No matter how well formated your website is, even though of course this will help with internet marketing, it all comes down to the product or service you offer. This is why so many SEOs encourage their readers to try to top their competitors by offering something extra to the visitor that no other companies within that market offer. Is post advertising a safe link building method

Take a local phoenix mortgage broker with a website title reading, “John Smith finance consultant”. What good will this do for attracting search engine traffic?  Instead of this, I would make my title read something to the effect of, “Phoenix Arizona Mortgage Broker – Home”.
