A 301 redirect will pass pagerank through from the old url to the new url you specify. Depending on how many links are linking to your domain.com and www.domain.com, it may be wise to 301 redirect one form of your domain to the other to make sure your getting all external links pushing juice into your site.

If you have a product that sells itself, that will play the role of “premium linkbait”. No matter how well formated your website is, even though of course this will help with internet marketing, it all comes down to the product or service you offer. This is why so many SEOs encourage their readers to try to top their competitors by offering something extra to the visitor that no other companies within that market offer. Especially in competitive markets you must shoot to be an Authority.

So how about these websites like payperpost, blogvertise and sponsoredreviews.com. They provide ways for web developers to purchase blog post advertising at affordable onetime fees, which Google views as (paid-links). Even though a couple of these programs hide their blog publishers pretty well, I continue hesitating whether it’s worth the risk. Some pages I’ve tracked using this system seem to rank well while others don’t rank well at all.
Can Google Track those who participate?

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make an extra income online. Before I continue, an affiliate program is a program website developers can enroll in to earn commissions for leads or sales they generate for another company online.
Some of these programs can pay up to $40 for leads and hundreds for sales depending on the product or service your marketing. Loan affiliates can earn thousands monthly, maybe even daily if they get on top of the search engine ranks for some high traffic keywords.

So many websites cannot be found by Joe surfer. One of the biggest seo mistakes I notice are websites that have a title tag without useful keywords. Take a local phoenix mortgage broker with a website title reading, “John Smith finance consultant”. What good will this do for attracting search engine traffic? Instead of this, I would make my title read something to the effect of, “Phoenix Arizona Mortgage Broker - Home”.

There are a few good ways to narrow down your search for pages you believe you can be included on. Take a guy who owns a business website selling discount ford parts. This person may have searched online for the keywords “ford links” or “ford websites” reciprocal, but maybe only junk is coming up in the results. Maybe the only pages that come up have hundreds of external links causing to share the appearance of a link farm. If you haven’t learned already, it’s now about that time to search Google like a pro. First lets talk a little about the allintitle search parameter. This helps you narrow down your search to only pages with your selection of words in the title. When building a link to your site from a page where your keywords are in their title tag, this can be a good value.
Below is a search I did on Google -> allintitle:”ford links” <-.

One of the more useful ways to build links is by making the web a better resource. Submit articles about your website topic. Article websites online make it easy to get the word out to the public. Do people want to know about what you’ve learned. Share it. Article submission sites will reward you with a backlink to your website if you can provide them with great article for their visitors to read. www.ezinearticles.com is a great place to start. Currently it holds an Alexa rank of 340 making it the most visited article website online. Whether or not you believe in the ranking system provided by Alexa, a rank of 340 is impressive. Depending on the quality of your article you will be sure to receive a decent amount of visits for your hard work you put into it. Continue Reading »

First impressions are always the most important whether your talking face to face or a customer navigates to your home page. Just yesterday I was buying a few groceries. When I had all my items ready to go I headed to the nearest cashier with the fewest customers in line. Aisle one looked to me to be my best bet. A man had just finished giving the cashier the money for his purchase. I proceed to throw my stuff on the treadmill table ,I guess you would call it, and started noticing this guy before me trying to recruit the cashier into his Multi-Level Marketing business. Dressed like a mechanic with faded blue pants and shirt and a red trucker hat this guy looked like he just fell out of bed. I listened to him go on to say, “Yea so if you sign up three people, you can make back what you pay to get in!”. Continue Reading »

Directory Link Building:
To begin marketing a website one of the best ways to start is by listing it within directories online. A great one to start with is Yahoo. For a low price of $299 you can get your business listed in a related catagory within the yahoo directory. The Botw.org is also a great place to get listed. Currently the price for getting listed in the botw directory runs $99 annually or a one time fee $249.95. Let’s not forget the DMOZ.
DMOZ is a little harder to get accepted into. There are no listing fees, your only accepted if you meet a list of requirements. Unfortunately not all these requirements are not really explained that well to site owners. To better your chances in getting included in this directory your site needs to impress the Dmoz editor reviewing it. You site must function well and be well formatted. Another thing that will help you get included is to provide all Company contact information where it can easily be found by visitors. I’ve noticed many sites that are listed in this directory have the company name, street address, phone, fax and email address posted right there in front on the home page of the website.
Now there have been some rumors about the Dmoz. Shoemoney.com claims an editor from the DMOZ blackmailed him for the sum of $5000. Continue Reading »

Rims.org is #1 on google for the keyword “rims”. Lets say you have a 3 month old site selling lowrider rims. If rims.org links to your lowriderrimsusa.com page with the word, “lowrider rims”, you’ll find your site stands a good chance in ranking high for the keywords “lowrider rims”. That is the power of relevancy. This “relevancy” belief isn’t just based on theory and here’s why…
