I’ve talked with a number other Bloggers and it has been determined that writing fresh content on a daily basis can be a challenge for many.  Common questions include, “How can I manage to write every day?” “I need some fresh ideas, how can I come up with some?”

RSS doesn’t only provide a way for you to have fresh content continuously published for your readers. You can also use RSS for topic scouting. By using My Yahoo and other online news resources, finding a subject to write about comes much easier.

There are many ways to get up to date information on any topic.  Using Google News is one way to get the latest updates and releases on any given subject.  Just today I clicked onto news.google.com and did a search for ‘SEO’.  After taking a quick glance I came up with a few topics that I wouldn’t mind sharing my own personal opinion about.  Some of these topic ideas include Site structure, hosting tips, keyword density, personal SEO predictions, the high price of SEO and finally social media strategies.

Don’t get me wrong.  I encourage everyone to be independent and bring fresh ideas to the table.  A fresh topic that has never been discussed is like gold for attracting links.  However, it doesn’t hurt to discuss your personal opinions on present topics.  This does not mean go copy everybody Else’s content.  Most readers enjoy finding a variety of opinions on any given topic.

How about My Yahoo? Using My Yahoo will easily give you the ability to add a variety of rss feeds from your favorite blogs and news resources.  Using My Yahoo to organize your favorite blog rss feeds relating to your topic is great way to keep the ideas coming.  This doesn’t mean go and copy a bunch of content from your favorite blogs.  If you have 20 favorite blogs on your My Yahoo page, there’s a good chance you’ll figure out something useful to write about while still bringing something original to your readers.

Another way to keep fresh content being published is by inviting others to write in exchange for a signature link.  I have been considering this method for this blog.  If you run a blog, how do you feel about inviting guest writers?
