I recently had some deep pages from another website drop off of Google’s ranks I believe it was from a duplicate content issue. ICSA offering Network Security Insurance, What’s Up With The Website?

May 20, 2010 2 Comments

I recently came across a company that was offering an insurance policy to their customers if at any time their customers network was hacked.  Now to me this just sounds like a future box of fraud from customers bad intentions.  Anyways, since this product was unveiled the company signed up 100 new customers over a 6 month period.  Interested in learning more I attempted to jump over to their website and take a look at their products and services.  Once the website loaded my browser came up with a page that reviled the image shown on the right.  Did the company get hacked, is this just a internal glitch or is it just an update?

When it comes to building links you should really focus on building quality links.  As you may already know a link is seen by search engines as a vote.  High quality relevant links will always work best.  If you have nothing but spammy links, such as posting links in a bunch of forums, your website will suffer.  In many cases forum moderators will take them off and ban your username. How will Google’s system react if this week your website earns 100 links and next week they no longer exist?

To begin building good links, the first thing you must do is make your website link worthy.
